PERSEPSI MAHASISWA TENTANG SELF-DIRECTED LEARNING READINESS (SDLR) TERHADAP METODE PEMBELAJARAN S1 KEPERAWATAN FIKES UMP

Abstract

ABSTRAK

Latar Belakang: Pembelajaran modern dalam kegiatan belajar saat ini semakin sedikit menggunakan pendekatan terstuktur tetapi lebih banyak tugas belajar mandiri. Kesiapan belajar mandiri yang tinggi menunjukkan adanya kemampuan mahasiswa untuk mengembangkan prinsip-prinsip self-directed: manajemen diri, keinginan untuk belajar, dan pengendalian diri.

Tujuan: Mengetahui tingkat kesiapan belajar mandiri mahasiswa/ Self-Directed Learning Readiness (SDLR) pada mahasiswa S1 keperawatan FIKES UMP.

Metode: Penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif non eksperimen. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuisioner Self-Directed Learning Readiness (SDLR). Analisis univariat meliputi deskrpsi karakteristik responden, persepsi SDLR responden. Responden penelitian ini berjumlah 700 mahasiswa S1 keperawatan.

Hasil: Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa didapatkan skor SDLR  mahasiswa semester 1 dalam kategori tinggi dengan rata-rata (144.86), mahasiswa semester 3 dalam kategori tinggi dengan rata-rata (143.97), mahasiswa semester 5 dalam kategori tinggi (144.74).

Kesimpulan: Kesiapan belajar mandiri mahasiswa S1 keperawatan FIKES UMP termasuk dalam kategori tinggi.
